Showers
Is your shower draining slowly? Does the water trickle from your shower head? Commercial Service will dispatch our knowledgeable plumbers to provide expert shower and tub repair service. Clogs in sinks, showers and tubs are usually caused by hair, soap and toothpaste buildup in the trap and drainpipe. Our skilled service technicians will clean the drain of any and all debris, restoring proper drainage. We are experts in sophisticated shower heads, spa-like water jets, and faucet designs.

Toilets
If you have a clogged toilet, leaky toilet or a broken seal between the toilet and the drain Commercial Service will be there. Toilets consume more than 40% of your total water usage. If the toilets in your home were installed prior to 1994 then you could probably save on your water bill by installing more efficient toilets. Older toilets typically use 3+ gallons of water per flush, while the water saving versions only use 1.5-2.0 gallons of water per flush. Typical toilet problems include clogs or toilets that run after flushing. If you hear water running in your toilet tank for extended periods after a flush, then your toilet is leaking. Water is running down the overflow tube and wasting gallons of water daily.  If a toilet requires plunging on a regular basis, there is probably an obstruction in the trap or further down the drainpipe.

Disposals
Garbage disposals are often overwhelmed by the amount and type of food fed into them. The disposal is an important component in reducing the chance of clogs in your plumbing system as it chops up food waste before it passes in the drain pipes. Common problems with disposals are leaks, jams, or it has simply stopped working. While routine garbage disposal maintenance will keep your equipment in the best working condition possible, the fact is that you are going to have to have your system repaired at some point. Commercial Service will repair, replace or install any type of garbage disposal.

Dishwashers
We understand how important a dishwasher is to your family. It is one of the most commonly used appliances in your home. There are many problems that can cause a dishwasher to malfunction. Drain lines can become clogged with food or other debris, and water lines may become clogged or kinked. Commercial Service will send out one of our licensed plumbers to inspect your particular situation. Dishwasher repairs can be complex and difficult due to the intricacies of the systems, which is why it is best to consult a professional dishwasher repair expert. We are always ready to provide prompt service at reasonable rates in order to get your dishwasher functioning properly again.

Commercial Service has the residential plumbing expertise and special equipment needed for drain and sewer line repair and replacement. We can fix drain lines and sewer lines from problems such as blockage, leaking joints, roots in sewer pipes, and broken, cracked, offset or collapsed pipes. We can diagnose solutions that address both your home and your budget concerns.

Commercial Service recommends regular maintenance to ensure that your sump pump operates as it is intended. A sump pump should be inspected and cleaned once a year, but pumps that run frequently due to a higher water table or wet weather conditions should be serviced more often. Sump pumps will wear out over time and will need to be replaced. Our sump pump repair knowledge will ensure that it is fixed correctly the first time.

What happens during the worst rain storm of the season and you power goes out? Your sump pump stops working. That is why you should have a battery powered back up sump pump installed. During normal operation, the electric sump pump will pump water from the pit. But if the electricity goes out, the battery-powered backup pump will automatically start up when the pit fills with water. An electric charger keeps the battery-backup pump fully charged so it’ll be ready at any time. It is a wise investment and much less costly than restoration of your basement.

Clean drinking and bathing water flows under pressure through municipal water lines to your home. Backflow is the reverse flow of dirty water through the clean water lines. Commercial Service suggests a series of measures and backflow prevention devices. Backflow can be prevented in two ways, either through installation of an approved air gap that provides a physical separation between the contaminant and the drinking water supply; or mechanical devices such as a check valve or assemblies that prevent backflow from occurring.
