There are numerous types of furnaces on the market. The majority of American homes depend on furnaces to provide heat. These furnaces blow warm air through ducts that deliver the heated air to rooms throughout the house. They can be powered by electricity, natural gas, or fuel. Commercial Service specializes in Trane furnaces.

Air conditioners are important parts of homes, especially those that are located in warm climates. There are six types of air conditioners on the market, and each system has their own benefits. To figure out what air conditioning system works best for your family's home and budget, call Commercial Service.

Commonly mixed up with a furnace, an air handler can operate with both heating and cooling equipment. The most common type of air handler is known as a terminal unit, which consists of an air filter, a blower, and a coil. The indoor coil is used to keep the air at the desired temperature, while the air filter is used to remove airborne contaminants. For more information about air handlers, contact Commercial Service today.

A heat pump is a refrigeration system that can be reversed to either heat or cool an area. Installation for this type of system typically consists of two parts: an indoor unit called an air handler and an outdoor unit called a heat pump. A compressor circulates refrigerant that absorbs and releases heat as it travels between the indoor and outdoor units.

Geothermal systems exist below the earth's service, and are able to function because at that depth, temperatures don't really fluctuate. During the summer months, geothermal systems absorb warmth from your home and transfers it to the underground loop where it is then absorbed by the cooler earth. During the winter months, warmer temperatures from below the surface are harnessed and brought up to heat your home. If you have more questions about geothermal energy, don't hesitate to ask Commercial Service. We're just a phone call away!

The split/ductless system is technically called a “packages terminal air conditioner” (PTAC). The split system breaks the air conditioning system into two terminals, with one being inside while the other is outside. A conduit that houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain, links the terminals. These systems are fairly small, and simple to install. Many models nowadays are also able to have up to four rooms connected to one unit. The advantage of this is that each room's system will have its own thermostat, so you may manually control individual rooms' temperatures.

Traditional Water Heater
Traditional, or conventional water heaters are a commonly used type of water heater. These collect, store, and reserve hot water in a tank for when you are ready to use it by using a continual heat source.

Tankless Water Heaters
A tankless water heater provides the hot water you need, for as long as you need it. Plus, it's compact, eco-friendly, long lasting, reliable, and safe. Tankless water heaters can even take as much as 20% off your water heating bill. Learn more about the tankless water heaters we provide and install.

Heat Pump Water Heaters
Heat pump water heaters work by taking heat from your home, increasing the temperature and transferring it into the tank. Heat pump water heaters can be up to three times more efficient than a traditional water heater with an electric fuel type.

While hard water isn't a heath hazard for you, it can cause real damage to your faucets, tubs, sinks, and toilets. That's because hard water contains higher levels of dissolved minerals, specifically calcium and magnesium. These minerals can build up and leave pesky residue, make your water feel harsh and drying, and can even dull the effects of things like shampoo and soap. To combat hard water, consider investing in a water softener. Water softeners change the chemical balance of the water, and drastically reduce the minerals in the water that flows out of your faucets and shower heads.

A faucet can be a statement piece as well as a tool! We supply and install automatic sensor and hands-free faucets, low flow and water conserving faucets, waste valves, water shut off valves and backflow preventers.

As a homeowner you know how much of a problem a clogged or improperly working  toilet  can be. There is no predicting what may be clogging the drains. Many things—sometimes things that don't even belong in a bathroom—can find their way into your toilet. We can fix the trip lever, floating ball, flush handle, flapper, bowl refill tube, ball cock, overflow tube, supply tube, or stop valve (an important feature). We have the best and latest models of toilets for your family's needs.

Garbage disposals  are common fixtures in homes nowadays, and with good reason. These systems allow you to dispose of old food by shredding it into small enough pieces that will pass through your pipes. However, there are numerous things that you should refrain from putting your disposal, including bones, fruit pits, and grease. For more information about garbage dispoals, contact us today. We can sell, install, and help you maintain your disposal system.

If you have a basement in your home, you should have a sump pump system installed.  Sump pumps  accumulate extra water, that way your home doesn't experience any flooding. However, no sump pump functions perfectly all of the time, so sump pump maintenance is crucial. This can help your system's performance stay in the best shape possible. For sump pump options, contact us today! We have some of the best and latest models of sump pumps for your family's needs.
